Winery Visit and Tasting Domaine de Chantegut, Sarrians

In April 2023, La Table des Amis de Provence offered “Winery Visit and Tasting Domaine de Chantegut, Sarrians” to members and friends.

“We just visited these beautiful vineyards and tasted unique wine at Domaine de Chantegut. Matthew was very informative about the way how wine is produced, different grapes types and the future of wine making. The vineyards are very special, because it is still a family business with third generation just taking a lead on. The main building is just stunning, showing the history of this place which used to be a silk factory which turned into wine making production back in 1959. The wine tasting session was just great, you can really get a flavour of bubbly, whites, rose and longevity of reds . Bistrot de la Gare Lorial du Comtat The second event (optional) is lunch a short drive away at a former train station that has been reimagined as a modern bistrot. Prices are modest, the cuisine exceptionally good and the ambience - unique.
