In January 2023, La Table des Amis de Provence offered “Truffle market and lunch in Richerenches” to members and friends.
The market takes place on Avenue de la Rabasse (Rabasse is the Provençal word for truffle) and on Cours du Mistral. The market comes to end around 13h00, yet the fragrance continues to pervade the village. The truf fle market does wholesale and retail business. There is also a local products market at the same time. The Richerenches truffle market accounts for approximately 50% of truf fle transactions in southeast France and approximately 30% of all the truffles in France. We would meet up at la salle des fêtes du village at 13h30 to enjoy an apéritif, omelette aux truffles, salade, fromage, dessert, café et vin included. An engraved glass is offered by the village associations.
