Join La Table des Amis de Provence for a Thanksgiving celebration on Thursday 26 November 2026 at Le Mas de Lilou in Tarascon.
Our host, La Table member and private chef Catherine Burtonboy, lived in the United States for many years before settling in Provence. She will welcome us to her home for a traditional Thanksgiving buffet, coordinated by Barney Lehrer.
Please arrive at 13:00. Weather permitting, we’ll begin outdoors with an aperitif and seasonal nibbles before enjoying turkey and gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts with pancetta, and green beans. Dessert will feature three Thanksgiving favorites: pumpkin pie, pecan pie and apple pie.
We look forward to sharing a favorite American tradition around a Provençal table. And remember, Thanksgiving is the one day of the year the Americans eat better than the French.
