Mushroom Hunt

In December 2023, La Table des Amis de Provence offered “Mushroom Hunt” to members and friends.

For those who enjoyed (or heard about) the Truffle Hunt or Grape Stomp with Johan and Lisa Pepin, this event would be a welcome return to their family farm on the outskirts of Cadenet. Mushroom hunting in the countryside is the ultimate Provence experience! Odds are that you'll find quite a few wild herbs during your forage, as well! After the hike, a table would be waiting for you with a traditional apéritif (homemade wine, homemade Pastis, homemade Provencal pâté, tapenade, pickled mushrooms, and fresh baguette) and great stories. Gathering baskets, mushroom knives, and a visual guide to edible and inedible mushrooms would be provided.
