In May 2026, La Table des Amis de Provence offered “Festival of the Transhumance in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence” to members and friends.

More than 3,000 sheep, accompanied by donkeys, goats, sheepdogs and shepherds, made two passages around the boulevards of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence from the Plateau de la Crau. Members watched this emblematic seasonal tradition from the terrace of the Bar Tabac des Alpilles, with time to visit the antiques fair and cheese market on Place de la République before a convivial lunch.
