In February 2024, La Table des Amis de Provence offered “A coquillage tasting and bistro lunch in Port Saint Louis du Rhône” to members and friends.

The day explored Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, the port and wetlands at the mouth of the Rhône. From the eighteenth-century Tour Saint-Louis, the group travelled through the marshes towards Plage Napoléon, with opportunities to see flamingos, swans, herons and other wildlife. A family shellfish producer hosted an oyster tasting with wine before lunch, with the option of returning through the Camargue via the Bac de Barcarin.
