In June 2022, La Table des Amis de Provence offered “Transhumance Festival in Saint Remy de Provence” to members and friends.
The traditional transhumance brought flocks of sheep, shepherds and working dogs through the streets of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence on their seasonal journey towards higher summer pastures. The gathering celebrated one of Provence’s most distinctive pastoral traditions.
