Le Street Art au Cours Julien

In March 2025, La Table des Amis de Provence offered “Le Street Art au Cours Julien” to members and friends.

Located in the heart of the city, close to Noailles and the Old Port, the Cours Julien is one of the most lively areas of Marseille, both by day and night. It is the ideal place to discover the most beautiful street art works of the city. Many of the shops, restaurants and bars here have commissioned street artists to create works on their shopfronts. Others are of doubtful legality but all are very colorful and ever changing. Our program for the day would be: 09h45 meet with our English speaking guide at the entrance to the Métro Notre Dame de Mont for a two hour walking tour of the district with commentary on the works of art we would see on our visit. 12h30 lunch in the indoor patio at Mama Shelter, also in the Cours Julien.
