In May 2024, La Table des Amis de Provence offered “Balade Gourmande des Jaugeurs” to members and friends.
It’s a gathering designed to showcase the Lirac appellation with all three colors: reds, whites and rosés. Guided by two jaugeurs in ceremonial dress you’ll walk along 5 km of vineyard trails. The walk is punctuated by five stops, where you would enjoy pairings of food and wine prepared in partnership with the Gard aux Chefs, a starred restaurateur association. The vineyards are transformed for the day into a huge outdoor lunch table! Groups would depart from the start point in Roquemaure every 20 minutes from 11h00 to 13h00.
