In May 2026, La Table des Amis de Provence offered “Balade Gourmande of the Confrérie des Jaugeurs of Lirac” to members and friends.
The 19th Balade Gourmamde of the Confrérie des Jaugeur of Lirac Every year, the Confrérie des Jaugeurs – a traditional brotherhood of wine tasters and verifiers – arranges a time and place to meet up with winemakers and oenophiles on a wonderful gourmet walk. Guided by jaugeurs in ceremonial dress you’ll walk along 5 km of vineyard trails. The walk is punctuated by five stops, where you would enjoy pairings of food and wine prepared in partnership with the Gard aux Chefs, a starred restaurateur association. Groups would depart from the start point in Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres every 20 minutes from 11h00 to 13h00.
