La Table des Amis de Provence is pleased to offer twenty places (first come; first served) for: A special day at the Provence Arts Festival du Film
On July 30, 2026, twenty Le Table members will have an opportunity to sample the second edition of the PAFF in Menerbes, along with the wonders of the village, itself, organized by Menerbians (and La Table members) Sven Slazenger and Angela Polin, with the help of Lucy Darwin (also a La Table member and Director of the Festival).
In addition to lunch and the movie, members can start at 10:30 with a morning intellectual challenge as a distinguished panel discusses “Beyond Biography: Who has the right to tell the story of an artist” at the beautiful Hotel Tingrey, then relax with a cool beverage and a two-course lunch, along with the view, at the restaurant Monsieur Tu.
Following lunch, attend the Festival’s afternoon screening of “Pianomania" (2009) while you snack on Angela’s special movie treats in reserved seats. (Those interested in all of the Festival’s offerings should consult the PAFF website: https://provencearts.com)
After the Pianomania Q&A, close the day over apéro and drinks at Sven’s spacious apartment (with a view even better than M. Tu), or, if you’re interested in even more cinematic enjoyment, consider buying a ticket to the evening film, “Broken English,” a new film on the life of the late Marianne Faithfull, under the stars.
